This is a chance to come out and practice before the upcoming national championship in August. We’ll have about 2 hours of practice time with coaching available from some multi-time national champions. 5 mags per turn on as many guns/turns as we can accommodate in the time available. The second half will be a mini match on the 2 stages we’ll have up for practice. We should be able to accommodate up to 2-3 guns per shooter for the match portion. Open to shooter of all abilities and experience.
Steel challenge may be shot with either centrefire handguns, .22lr rimfire handguns, .22lr rimfire rifles, or legal pistol caliber carbines. No magnum calibres or steel core/steel jacketed ammo are permitted.

Holster: belt holster for any Center fire handguns that fully covers the trigger. "concealment/IWB" holsters are not permitted. Rimfire guns are not drawn from the holster. It is best to bring a case/gun bag for these.

Shooter results:
Results will be posted to PractiScore, usually the same night. If you need your results to be anonymous, make sure to contact the match director well in advance.

The official steel challenge rule book governs our steel challenge matches and events please make sure to give it a read through so that you are familiar with the rules, commands, and equipment divisions.

Refunds
If you are withdrawing from the match, please email steel@btsa.club for the most timely refund. Refunds for voluntary withdrawals will be less credit card processing fees and must be received by the registration closing date so we have a chance to attempt to fill the empty slot. If the match needs to be cancelled due to conditions or unexpected events, a full refund will be issued less any unrecoverable expenses (none are typical for weekend matches and this applies more to provincial/national matches)
