Buffalo Target Shooters Association
The
Buffalo Target Shooters Association (BTSA) is primarily a handgun
club, based in Calgary, Alberta, and is a member group of the Alberta Provincial Rifle Association (APRA).
BTSA members use the Steve Johnson Range (SJR) in northeast Calgary,
and several range facilities (50-metre and 200-metre) at the APRA's
Homestead facility in Kananaskis country. (see Ranges section)
The Steve Johnson range is rated for handguns of any calibre, black
powder rifles and .22 rimfire rifles. No centrefire rifles or shotguns
may be shot at this range.
The range facilities we oversee at Homestead are configured for
handgun, any calibre, black powder, rimfire rifle and centrefire
rifle, up to .338 Lapua.
